In the previous post<\/a> we commented on the characteristics and appreciations of this DNP Metal consumable. If you have decided to purchase this material or want to know more details about its use, I think there are two issues that are essential to know before using it. First of all, the recommendation to use the profile supplied by DNP, because as I mentioned in the previous post, the paper is not white, but metallic gray, so if we print as we usually do, we will probably notice that the colors lack intensity. To correct this, we will apply a specific printing profile for this paper. On the other hand, it is important to know that, if we are not very careful, we may run out of paper without having used all the copies indicated on the box, so be sure to read this section as well.<\/p>\n\n

With other types of equipment (inkjet printers, plotters…) we are more accustomed to change color profiles for each paper we use (matte, glossy, satin, more or less weight…) but in this equipment where printing is so fast and fluid, perhaps all this may seem a little laborious, but it is also true that when you have it by hand, it is a matter of seconds. I fully understand that if you have never been involved in these issues, all this may seem a bit of a “roll” beforehand, but I think that in this case it is essential to know it and that is the purpose of this post.<\/p>\n\n
