You will notice this right away if you have had your SL620 for years and have never upgraded it.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am going to explain all the ways to update it depending on the software version you have, so I will be a bit long, but don&#8217;t worry, you will probably only have to do one of the options indicated and not all of them!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember also that if the procedure seems complex you can always contact our SAT who will prepare a quote for the update: sat@apphoto.es<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As always when you have to do this type of intervention, we recommend you to do it in &#8220;quiet&#8221; moments and if possible outside of business hours. We must also avoid risky situations such as sockets or power strips that are not in perfect condition, days of electrical storms or blackouts, and the recommendation par excellence is that the equipment is always connected to a UPS, this can save us from serious problems and unfortunately every year we see some because of power outages and electrical voltages.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The upgrade options I am going to explain are for :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DNP SL620\/620II Kiosk <strong>connected to the Internet<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kiosk DNP SL620\/620II<strong>  with version 3.3. and subsequent  <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DNP Kiosk SL620\/620II <strong>with<\/strong> <strong>version 3.2. and earlier  <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:1px\">Therefore, if you do not have it connected to the Internet, the first thing we are going to check is which version we have installed in our DNP kiosk to go to the corresponding Option. As I said, the kiosk has been evolving and in the current versions the update is much easier than in the older versions.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The software version can be viewed by going to the Kiosk <strong>Manager <\/strong>(top of the screen). If you don&#8217;t remember how to enter the administrator, click <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/16ymTqY_XS3prEuJa2oWkD9EknyCnq6N4\/view\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1.png\" alt=\"|\" class=\"wp-image-93578\" width=\"488\" height=\"168\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1.png 650w, https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1-400x138.png 400w, https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1-64x22.png 64w, https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1-600x207.png 600w, https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1-300x103.png 300w, https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1-150x52.png 150w, https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1-441x152.png 441w, https:\/\/www.apphoto.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/post-actualizacion-sl620-img1-520x179.png 520w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Let&#8217;s get to it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>OPTION 1<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kiosk DNP SL620\/620II <strong>\n  <u>connected to the internet<\/u>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Access the <strong>Administrator <\/strong>\u2192 select <strong>Diagnostics <\/strong>\u2192 and <strong>Check for Updates<\/strong> (or similar phrase depending on the version you have).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system will perform the download and update.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will see that once the download is finished you will have to restart your computer.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, a blue screen will appear, click \u2192 <strong>Restart<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Restart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 we will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Software.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and we will have to restart again.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notes:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the update is started and depending on each software version, the indications may not be exact, in some updates we have found that the blue screen mentioned above does not appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If this update system does not work for any reason, you can do it with options 2 or 3 below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This recent update incorporates some improvements and also DNP&#8217;s &#8220;Printogo&#8221; system, so that the kiosk can receive orders on-line, but for the moment it is not operational for Spain. We have requested some improvements and changes.
